🐾 Meet Scot Pendlebury 🏉🐶

With leadership qualities, effortless composure, and enough charm to captain an entire household, it's only fitting that this handsome young German Shepherd is named Scot Pendlebury.

Like his namesake, Scot has excellent vision, moves beautifully through traffic (or in this case, shelter pathways), and always seems to know exactly where he needs to be. He's calm, friendly, and carries himself with the confidence of a seasoned veteran-even if he's still a young bloke finding his feet.

Scot came into our care as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he's an incredibly friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people, loves attention, and is happy to soak up pats and affection from his admirers. He's also social with other dogs, greeting them politely with soft body language and showing no signs of aggression.

Being a young entire male, Scot has occasionally demonstrated that his decision-making isn't always quite at Brownlow level, particularly when meeting attractive canine company. Thankfully, this appears to be youthful enthusiasm rather than any behavioral concern, and we expect him to settle nicely once desexed.

Scot walks beautifully on lead, already knows sit, and has a relaxed nature that makes him a pleasure to spend time with. Like any young German Shepherd, he'll benefit from ongoing training, continued socialization, and plenty of enrichment to keep that clever mind occupied. Puzzle feeders, toys, interactive games, and learning new skills will all help him thrive.

Scot may enjoy a home with a playful dog companion, but he could also be happy as the centerpiece of the team. Due to his size and enthusiasm, he'd be best suited to a home with older children, and he is not recommended for homes with cats.
