About Marmalade
Meet Marmalade! a gentle, sensitive soul looking for a calm home where he can truly flourish. While shy and timid at first, Marmalade forms deep bonds with patient and understanding people who let him settle at his own pace. He will thrive with a safe room during his first few weeks, complete with cosy hiding places, a scratching post, and enrichments. A quiet home with predictable routines for feeding, rest, and gentle interactions will help him feel secure. He enjoys calm companionship and may appreciate gentle brushing more than food rewards, as he is not highly food-motivated. Marmalade does have ongoing veterinary needs that will require continued management and reviewed. He would do best as the only pet in an adult or respectful older-teen household. Come meet the sweet boy, Marmalade!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
