The best days start with slow, gentle pacing and a few encouraging words, then a friendly sniff and a shared sniff of the world. I crave predictable routines and a patient guiding hand in new surroundings. I’m drawn to families with children aged 6 and up, where I can grow confident at my own pace and learn what it means to be part of a team. I come with some non-negotiables that help me feel safe and loved. I need a solid fence and a home that offers both indoors and outdoors space for little adventures and big naps alike. I bring breed-savvy energy, so someone who’s owned dogs before and can read my subtle signals will be my best match. I should meet any resident dogs in the home, and I’m most hopeful about a patient, well socialised companion there—though I should avoid off-leash parks as a rule of thumb until we know each other well.
