About Tommy STK015332 & Rosie STK015333
They say good things come in pairs, and Tommy and Rosie are living proof. This beautiful brother and sister duo share an incredibly close bond and are looking for a forever home where they can continue life's adventures together. As they've never been apart, they must be adopted as a pair.
Like many kittens who haven't seen much of the world, Tommy and Rosie are shy when meeting new people and exploring new surroundings. They'll need a patient family willing to give them the time, love and space to settle in at their own pace. Once they realise they're safe, their wonderful personalities begin to shine.
Tommy is the quieter of the two when you first meet him, preferring to make the first move once he's built a little confidence. Before long, you'll discover an incredibly affectionate young man who loves curling up on your lap or being cradled in your arms, all while producing an impressively loud purr. He's happiest with a tummy full of treats, enjoys batting around little mouse and plush toys, and starts each day with playful morning zoomies before settling in for an afternoon cuddle.
Rosie is every bit as companionable and adores being close to her people. Once she's comfortable, she'll happily seek you out for pats, curl up on your lap and let you know exactly when she's ready for affection. She's just as food motivated as Tommy and can happily entertain herself for ages with her favourite mouse and plush toys. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she's more than happy to shower you with love on her own terms.
These two gentle teenagers are looking for a calm, loving indoor home where they can continue to grow in confidence together. If you have the patience to let them settle and the love to help them blossom, Tommy and Rosie will reward you with years of companionship, laughter and twice the cuddles.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
