About Coral
*This animal is currently at a foster home and not at the shelter*
Hi, I’m Coral
I’m a 2 month old domestic long hair, with a majestic presence (if I do say so myself). I like to observe the world with quiet confidence — I’m very much a “look, but don’t touch” kind of lady at first. I enjoy being admired, and I prefer to decide when and how affection happens. Independence is kind of my thing.
That said, I absolutely love other cats. Feline friends make me feel safe, understood, and playful. I would LOVE to have a confident kitty companion in my new home to help me build bonds and continue learning that touch and closeness aren’t so scary after all. I really thrive when I have another cat to interact with.
I’m also a big fan of toys — especially the kind I can carry around proudly in my mouth. I’ll parade them like prized possessions and keep myself entertained with my playful energy.
Because I’m still learning about the world, I’ll need a family who understands cat behaviour and can introduce me to my new home slowly and gradually. Patience, consistency, and structure will help me feel secure. I would do best in a calm household without children under 12 years old, so I can settle in at my own pace and maintain a predictable routine.
Give me time, gentle guidance, and a feline buddy, and you’ll see my confident, playful personality truly shine. I may be a little reserved at first, but I promise I’m worth the slow and steady approach.
