Shoshone lives life in motion — curious, confident, and absolutely convinced the world was made for him to investigate. He’s the puppy who trots into new spaces tail up, eyes bright, ready to see what’s around the next corner.

Shoshone has grown up with 2 of his siblings and is the most investigative of the trio. While his siblings pause, he’s already halfway across the room, nose down, checking out whatever caught his attention. He’s a classic heeler mix pup in all the best ways: busy, clever, goofy, and full of enthusiasm for whatever comes next. There’s a happy‑go‑lucky charm to him — the kind of pup who makes you laugh even when he’s being a little rascal.

Around other dogs, Shoshone is a social butterfly. He’s usually the first to approach, confident and friendly, eager to say hello and figure out who’s who. Whether it’s a big dog, a small dog, or a new environment entirely, he handles it with an easy, adaptable nature that makes him a joy to take places.

These three siblings — along with the rest of their litter — were dumped at an unmanned CFA station, severely underweight and terrified. With care, patience, and proper nutrition, they’ve transformed into bright, confident, happy puppies who are now shining and living their best little lives. As brave as they’ve become, these little ones may still feel unsure when they first head off to their new homes. New people, new smells, new routines — it’s a lot for pups who’ve already been through so much. With time, patience, and gentle reassurance, they’ll settle in and let their true, joyful selves shine.

Shoshone will likely grow into a high‑energy, high‑intelligence adult who thrives with structure, training, and plenty of mental enrichment. He’s already napping and sleeping in his crate with his siblings, and he’s starting to learn the ropes with toilet training. He’ll shine in a home that enjoys teaching, guiding, and celebrating his wins — whether that’s an active family, a home with other dogs, or puppy‑friendly kids who understand gentle handling.
