Hi I’m Mitzi! I'm a shy little girl, but I have the sweetest and most gentle soul you could ever hope to meet. The last couple of months have been a sad and unsettling time for me after my previous owner passed away and I found myself cold and alone in the pound. Thankfully, an angel whisked me away to safety so I could decompress and take some time to adjust to my new life.

I have only been in care for a very short time, but my pawrents have fallen head over bean toes in love with me and say that I am the most purrfect little lady, all wrapped up in love. They are so besotted with me, in fact, that they say they would foster-fail me in a heartbeat if they weren't so run ragged with kitties.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Whilst I am a HUGE fan of hoomans, I am a little bit cautious of my four-legged friends. Initially, I wanted nothing to do with my foster siblings but, as time has gone on, I have grown used to them and even give them a sniff when they come to say hello. So, I will definitely be fine with gentle, respectful cats who will give me space and respect my boundaries.

It is not known if I have lived with dogs or children before, but my pawrents think I would do better with the older, quieter kind who will be gentle with me and give me time to settle into my new home.

Likes / Dislikes
My favourite thing in the entire world is my hoomans. Being with them, cuddling with them, and being loved by them. If I could, I would spend each and every day lying next to them, having my belly rubbed, and my chin tickled while I whip up a big batch of cookies. Nothing makes me happier than baking the day away. My pawrents tell me that I am an excellent chef!

Despite settling into my foster home beautifully, I am understandably still timid and uncertain of my surroundings. All the noises and goings-on are new to me, so I often find myself feeling overwhelmed and hiding from the world. I like to find a warm, secure spot to snuggle up in, preferably with my foster mama nearby, so I can work on my baking skills. My pawrents have no doubt that, with a bit of time and a lot of love, I will grow in confidence with every passing day.

My PURR-fect home would be one with a kind, patient, and loving family who are eager to give a beautiful little girl a second chance at life. I've had the saddest few months and deserve to join a family with hoomans who will love me as much as I love them. And that is a whole lot.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Mitzi's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Mitzi has gingivostomatitis and is trialling BOVA’s 3-in-1 medication to reduce oral inflammation and potentially avoid full-mouth extractions.

Veterinary rechecks are required at 4 and 8 weeks at Mundijong Veterinary Hospital. Treatment may take 4–12 weeks to work.

If a dental is still required after the treatment trial, Perth Rescue Angels will cover the cost.
