Meet the enigma that is Ponzi, a sweet handsome fella.
He came to us underweight but thanks to Lifewise we’ve managed to put some meat on his bones, though he could still manage a couple of kilos more.

He is one of the most polite dogs I have met. He doesn’t jump up or lick though he does greet with a windmill of the tail. He sits and waits for his food even though he hoovers it up once given the ok. He waits to be invited in the front door. He mostly sits on command and is house trained using a large dog door.
He sleeps all night in a crate, though he’d probably like to be on the couch or a bed…he snores though and has to be lured into the crate.

He has been left alone in the house for over 5 hours without any damage, even though shoes and cushions are left out. He can defluff his toys in no time though…see he’s an enigma.

He is no trouble to get a halti on…but despite the halti he pulls on the lead, waters every tree and longs to say hi to every dog he sees. He would benefit from loose lead walking training.
He seems to be a very confident dog and has walked with a level of traffic and by a train line without any issues, however if a loud car roars behind him he can be spooked.

He is ball mad but rarely returns it and so we have 5 on rotation. He is always up for strokes, pats and cuddles. He rarely barks. He loves getting dried, so much so that he rolls around in the wet grass each morning and stands in front of the towel ready to be rubbed down.
He can be cheeky stealing things when he gets let into a room he’s not normally allowed in but he knows it’s not his and just leaves it on his bed.
His farts (like his snores) would give a staffy a run for their money.
What more can you ask of a dog?
