Heidi is a young, energetic little dog who is ready to find a family to call her own. If you’re looking for a companion who loves her daily walks and enjoys having a run, Heidi could be the perfect match.
She has settled beautifully into foster care and has been a delight to have around. Heidi would make wonderful company for someone who works from home, happily following her person from room to room and wanting to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Every now and then she’ll proudly present you with a random sock she’s found, as if she’s bringing you the greatest treasure!
Heidi has quickly learnt the household rules and is eager to please. She is toilet trained, provided she has access outside, and has had no accidents indoors. At night she sleeps respectfully on her foster mum’s bed and has excellent house manners.
Like many dogs who have come from a breeding environment, Heidi is still learning that the world isn’t so scary. She can be unsure about getting into the car and may need a little help, but with patience, encouragement and regular outings, she’s making steady progress.
Heidi would benefit from an active home that can provide regular exercise, ongoing training and continued confidence building. She has done well learning new routines and will continue to thrive with positive reinforcement.
She can live with another friendly dog following a proper introduction, ideally starting with a walk together on lead. Due to her sensitive nature, we feel Heidi would be best suited to a home with children aged 12 years and over. She has not been tested with cats.
As a low-shedding coat breed, regular professional grooming is essential to keep Heidi comfortable, healthy and looking her best. Her new family must be committed to maintaining her grooming needs throughout her life.
Heidi is a sweet, affectionate girl with so much love to give. If you’re looking for an active best friend who will brighten your days and happily keep you company wherever you go, Heidi is waiting to meet you.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in adopting through our rescue.
If you are shortlisted, a member of our team will be in touch within 7–10 working days. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will participate in a phone interview to help us assess the suitability of the home for the individual dog. The needs of each dog are our priority, and we will only proceed where we feel there is a strong match.
Successful applicants will have a meet and greet at a mutually convenient time with the foster carer. This will include introductions to all household members and any existing pets, as well as a property/fence check.
If all goes well, the dog may begin a 14-day trial period in the home to ensure the match is the right fit for both the dog and adopter. An adoption form will be completed and the adoption fee paid at this stage (fully refundable within the trial period if the placement is not suitable).
All relevant veterinary and adoption documentation will be provided upon successful completion of the trial period.
