Chai

Chai is a stunningly fluffy little lady who is sweet and gentle. When she came into care with her mother and sister, it was clear that she and her sister had not been handled by humans much but, with food and play, she enjoys pats and purrs away when patted. She also adores being brushes and her eyes start to roll back.

In just a few weeks, she has changed from running away from people to running up for pats and now rally adores her people but will still need a calm and patient home to do more work and bonding. It’s already clear that she’s a sweet and loving kitten.

She has not met children yet but may be OK with children who will be patient with her and play with her with cat teasers.

She is a bit grumpy when meeting new cats and doesn't seem to love playing with other cats so may prefer being an only cat or staying with her sister, Oolong (the adoption fee for two kittens is reduced to $600).

Good with cats? Quite hissy with other cats so pay prefer to be an only cat.
Good with dogs? untested
Good with young kids? untested but likely ok with patient and respectful children
Indoor or mix of indoor/outdoor? Indoor only
OK in apartments/small homes? Would be fine in a small home or apartment
Need another cat friend or human at home (will they get lonely if left alone all day)? Prefers people home more often than not.
