About Marcus
Say hello to Marcus, a youthful and exuberant American Staffordshire Terrier with a laidback charm that makes him an absolute pleasure to be around. Despite his playful energy, Marcus is wonderfully relaxed in the company of people, soaking up pats and scratches from head to tail without a care in the world. He's the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the room the moment you walk through the door, and his affectionate nature means he fits comfortably into the rhythm of everyday life with people he loves.
When it comes to playtime, Marcus is all in. Balls, ropes, squeaky toys, you name it and he's already got it in his mouth and is ready to go. He has some basic obedience under his belt and would really blossom with a family who's keen to build on that foundation through regular, positive training sessions. On the food front, Marcus enjoys his meals but has been known to have his own opinions about what's on the menu, so a little patience at dinnertime goes a long way.
To set Marcus up for the best possible start, we're looking for an experienced dog owner who understands the breed and can provide confident, consistent guidance. He can get a little carried away with excitement during play, so ongoing training will help channel that enthusiasm in the right direction. Marcus would thrive as the sole pet in a home without cats or small animals, and would do best with someone who works part time and can give him the company and routine he deserves. In return, he'll repay that investment tenfold with loyalty, cuddles, and enough playful energy to keep life feeling fun.
Best with Children Aged: 12 years +
