About Bruno
Bruno is an absolute charmer with a heart of gold. He's the kind of dog who greets everyone like an old friend, leaning in for bum scratches and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. He's wonderful with strangers and brings a warm, welcoming energy wherever he goes. Food is one of his greatest joys in life, and he also loves toys and balls, making him an enthusiastic and rewarding companion for play and training alike.
Despite being an older boy, Bruno is smart and full of potential. He already knows his basic commands and would thrive with an owner keen to keep building on that foundation. He picks things up readily, especially when there's a tasty reward involved, so further training will be both achievable and enjoyable for him and his new family.
Bruno would suit a full time working household, as long as he's set up with enrichment to keep his mind busy while he's home alone, such as puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, or long lasting chews. He is best placed as an only dog and cannot be rehomed with cats. Bruno also still needs some work on his social skills around other dogs, so a patient owner willing to continue that training will help him keep growing in confidence.
Bruno's enthusiasm is one of his best qualities, but it does mean he can get overexcited and jumpy, especially when meeting new people. Because of this, he would be best suited to a home with older children aged 15 and up who can confidently handle his bursts of excitement.
With his affectionate nature, food motivation, and eagerness to learn, Bruno has so much going for him. He just needs the right person to recognise his potential and give him the guidance and enrichment he needs to truly flourish.
Best with Children Aged: 15 +
