About Captain Willow
Meet Captain Willow, a mastiff cross with a whole lot of heart. This gorgeous boy is a fantastic walking companion who will happily match your pace and enjoy every sniff along the way. Food is one of Willow's greatest joys in life, making him an easy and enthusiastic student when it comes to training. He loves nothing more than chasing after his favourite toys and isn't afraid to bust out a good round of zoomies when the mood strikes. Willow also adores personal play and one on one attention, and he lights up when he gets some dedicated time with his person.
Willow is social with other dogs and enjoys their company, though he does best when matched with dogs who share his calmer energy rather than high octane playmates. With patience and a slow, thoughtful introduction, he could also do well in a home with a resident cat.
Willow is a sensitive soul who takes a little time to warm up to new people. Once he feels safe and settled, his true affectionate nature shines through, so his new family will need to be understanding and give him the space to build trust at his own pace. Because of this, and his enjoyment of company and interaction, Willow would suit a household where someone works part time or is otherwise home for a good portion of the day. Given his size and energy for a good zoomie session, Willow will need a home with 6ft fencing to keep him safe and secure. He would also do best in a home with older, pet savvy teenagers who understand how to interact with him respectfully as he settles in.
Best with Children Aged: 15 +
