Meet Brutus, a handsome, mature brindle gentleman with a big personality and plenty of love to give! Brutus is an affectionate boy who truly enjoys being around people and is happiest when he’s close to his humans.

Whether he’s soaking up pats, relaxing nearby or joining in with the day-to-day routine, he loves being part of the action and building strong bonds with his people.

Brutus is also a smart boy who loves his toys!

He is highly toy-motivated, making playtime a great way to engage his mind, build your relationship and continue his training. He has plenty of potential and will thrive with an owner who enjoys keeping him mentally stimulated and giving him opportunities to learn.

Brutus has been working hard on learning to be neutral around other dogs, and he has come a long way!

His progress so far is something to be proud of.

He will need an experienced owner who can continue supporting his training and help him succeed. Brutus must be the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy a comfortable environment without the added pressure of sharing his space with another dog. He is also not suited to a home with cats.

Brutus can live with children of all ages. He would suit a part-time worker, with a home routine that allows him to receive plenty of attention, company and enrichment.

Brutus forms strong attachments to his people and experiences some separation anxiety, so his future family will need to be mindful of this and help him gradually build confidence when spending time alone.

A home with a secure yard and 6ft fencing is required to keep Brutus safe and comfortable.

He will benefit from a consistent routine, ongoing training and plenty of opportunities to play, learn and spend quality time with his favourite people.

Brutus is available for foster-to-adopt only. With an experienced home willing to continue building on his progress, provide plenty of toys and enrichment, and give him the time and structure he needs, Brutus has so much to offer. He’s a clever, affectionate boy who deserves a chance to keep growing and show just how wonderful he can be!
