Dash

Dash is a sweet, affectionate little Dachshund with a gentle nature and a playful streak. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his friendly personality to shine through.

Once he feels comfortable, he's a happy little guy who loves spending time with his people, enjoys a squeaky toy, and is always up for some fun.

Dash is looking for a home where someone is around often, or works part-time, as he has shown some separation anxiety while in our care. Having company while he settles into his new home will help him build confidence and adjust to his new routine.

He would be best suited to a home with pet-savvy children who understand that he may be a little unsure at first and will appreciate letting him settle in at his own pace. Dash would also prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.

Being a typical Dachshund, Dash can be vocal and reactive at times, so he'll need a family committed to continuing his training and socialisation. With consistency, patience and positive reinforcement, he's sure to continue growing in confidence. Dash is an incredibly sweet boy with so much love to give, and he's ready to find a family who will help him become the very best version of himself.
