About Kukyo
Meet Kukyo! She is a friendly, sweet girl who isn't afraid to crawl into your arms for a cuddle when she is comfortable. She would be best suited to a calm, respectful household. She may live with cat-savvy children under supervision, where gentle, consent-based handling helps maintain her confidence and trust. A predictable routine, positive reinforcement with treats and play, and gradual introductions from a safe room will support a smooth transition into her new home. She requires indoor-only living or secure outdoor access, along with scratching posts, toys, climbing spaces, and safe retreat areas for enrichment. Come meet, Kukyo!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
