Hi, I’m Roy. You might have come across my sister’s profile before. We’re alike in many ways, but I’m definitely the cuter one, just don’t let her know I said that. Have you noticed my handsome face? Totally adorable.

I love spending time with my human and kids. Boy, are they fun! I’m probably best with children over 8, only because I’m a bit of a boofhead who gets excited and might accidentally knock over a little toddler.

Seriously, kids are so much fun! We can run around playing chase in the backyard, fetch, or tug-of-war. It’s impossible to choose a favourite, there’s just endless fun to be had together after school or on weekends.

I’m pretty great with other dogs and would love a doggy brother or sister to spend the day with, getting into some harmless mischief, zooming around the backyard, playing together, or curling up for a nap after all the fun. That sounds like the perfect day to me.

I love meeting new people and having playdates with my doggy friends. I’m pretty smart, if I do say so myself, and I pick up commands quickly. But like any teenager, I enjoy testing boundaries, so I might need an owner who can help keep me on the straight and narrow.

A big yard would be amazing since I love to run and zoom around. I think I’d fit best with an active family who enjoys spending time with me and has the time for play, walks, runs, outings, training, really anything! I’m happy to do whatever you want, as long as we get to share plenty of quality time together.

Now for the important stuff: I need a confident owner to continue my training and a family that can set and stick to boundaries—though I know, where’s the fun in that for me? Like any teenager, I don’t always take “no” for an answer the first time, and I might love testing the limits whenever I can, but that’s part of what makes me so adorable.

When I’m left home alone, I need long-lasting treats or interactive toys to keep me entertained, as I can only take nana naps for so long before you get back. If I haven’t burned off enough energy say by a walk or a run or even just quick playtime with you before you leave and there’s nothing left for me to do, don’t be upset if I’ve torn up my bed and made the backyard look like it’s snowing, Merry Christmas. I just need something fun to keep me busy if you haven’t left me anything. I'm not trying to be naughty, I'm just bored.
