Meet Haven 🐾
🐶 Personality: Haven is an affectionate and loving girl who will melt your heart with her whole body waggle every single time you walk through the door. She loves to cuddle, loves to be around her people and would happily spend her nights snuggled up in bed with you. She is a ball dog through and through and can also entertain herself when needed, which is a lovely quality in a young dog. She was initially a little standoffish but has softened immensely and is truly blossoming into the most beautiful girl.
🎓 Training: Haven is fast to learn and has already come a long way. She does have a high prey drive and is still working on managing overstimulation, so she will need a patient and consistent home to continue building on her progress. The good news is that her smarts and eagerness make her a joy to work with and she will thrive with the right guidance.
🏠 Perfect Home: Haven would be perfect for an active person or family who loves getting outdoors. She loves walks, runs and exploring new areas and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running or adventuring. Due to her prey drive a home without cats or small animals would be essential. She may do well with other dogs on a case by case basis. Haven is looking for someone who will be patient, consistent and ready to put in the work, because this girl has so much potential and will reward you endlessly for it.

~If you’re approved for adoption are you able to take your new dog within 2 weeks?
~Current pets? Details (breed, age, desexed?)
~Children? Details (age, experience with dogs)
~Rent or own your home? What is the size of your yard/property? Do you have secure fencing?
~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone? Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs? What training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc. I will also need monthly flea and worm treatments, are you prepared for that?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
