Ophelia is a gentle, sensitive little soul with the sweetest heart and an unmatched love for treats 🍗✨ In fact, refusing a snack is basically unheard of for this girl — if treats are involved, Ophelia is interested 😹
She can be shy at first and is easily startled by sudden movements or loud energy, so she truly blossoms best with calm, patient people who are happy to let her move at her own pace 🌸 Slow movements, soft voices, and a peaceful environment help her feel safe and confident. She’s the kind of cat who needs her humans to adjust for her, not the other way around 💕
Building trust takes time, but once Ophelia feels comfortable, her adorable personality starts to shine through. And when bedtime rolls around? That’s when the real fun begins 🌙😅 As soon as the lights go out, Ophelia turns into a tiny nighttime chaos gremlin — zooming through the house, playing with toys, and causing just enough mischief that you’ll wake up to little surprises scattered around the house by morning 🧶🐾

Behaviour Medication
While under the care of Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, this animal has been placed on a course of anxiety-management
medication. Being in a shelter environment is an unfamiliar situation and can be highly stressful for an animal. SDCH
believes in supporting the mental health of the animals in our care and medication is a key part of achieving this. The
medication does not change their personality or suppress any behavioural traits, it merely lowers their level of arousal and
allows them to think more clearly and cope better while they are in the shelter.
This animal has been provided with a medication plan to gradually wean down the medication in their new adoptive home. It
is important to wean down the medication gradually, as stopping it suddenly can have serious and long-lasting side effects.
Please follow the medication plan as directed and contact the SDCH veterinary team with any questions.
If you have a local, regular vet that you plan to take Ophelia to in the future, we recommend that you inform them of his/her
medical history so that the vets can best manage and monitor him/her in the future. Please ask them to contact us directly
or inform a team member of the vet clinic details so that we can pass on our medical history along with any x-rays, test
results and/ or reports for their reference.
