Meet Simba 🐾
🐶 Personality: Simba is a chilled out, happy boy who is content to spend most of his day relaxing, but don't let that fool you because when it's walk time, this boy comes alive! He gets excited when he meets new people but settles down quickly and will be your best mate within minutes. He loves a swim, enjoys a cuddle on his own terms and is very food motivated, which makes him an absolute dream to work with. He is great with other dogs and has grown up around them. Fair warning though, he does make a very entertaining monkey-like sound at dinner time when he thinks you are running late with his meal!
🎓 Training: Simba is well trained and knows his basics including sit, stay, paw, come and drop. He is housetrained and walks well on a halti, not for any aggression but simply because he loves a good pull on a regular lead! His recall is pretty good, though he has been known to use his own judgement on whether or not he feels like listening, which keeps things interesting. Being highly food motivated makes him a joy to train and reward.
🏠 Perfect Home: Simba would suit a wide range of homes. He is fine with kids and will happily accept some pats before going about his day on his own terms, though he would likely thrive with older kids or adults who understand his independent nature. He can be selective with small breed dogs so would do best with a similarly sized canine companion or as an only dog. He is not good with cats or small animals so a home without them would be ideal. Simba is not a dog that craves constant attention, he is a relaxed and easy companion who just wants a comfy spot to rest, a good walk and his dinner on time.
Love & licks! Simba 🐾❤️
