Meet Matilda
Matilda is a beautiful 12-year-old lady looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort.
Like many mature cats, Matilda takes a little time to trust new people. She prefers to get to know you at her own pace, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with her favourite people.
Matilda would be happiest in a calm home without young children, as she values her peace and personal space. She needs to be the only cat in the household, as she doesn't enjoy the company of other cats and is much more comfortable having the home to herself.
If you're looking for a gentle companion and are willing to let Matilda settle in on her own terms, you'll be rewarded with the company of a lovely, loyal friend. She has so much love to give to the right person and is ready to find a home where she can truly relax and be herself.
Adoption details
Please visit our Animal Rehoming Centres during opening hours to meet our animals and adopt. No appointment is needed. For select animals, we will require an email application. Where this is the case, instructions will be specified on the animal’s profile.
Animal Welfare League Gold Coast's opening hours are:
Tuesday to Friday – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday to Sunday – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday – Closed
