Kingston The Greyhound

Hi there, Kingston's the name, and like my biscuit namesake, I'm dark and delicious.

I'm a tall, handsome black gentleman with the shiniest coat you've ever seen. If I had to describe myself, I'd say I'm equal parts calm companion and lovable goofball—the perfect combination, if you ask me.

I love a good zoomie around the garden and a play session with my favourite toys. But I'm just as talented at relaxing, especially when I can show off my signature move: The Big Lean. I lean into my humans with such enthusiasm you'll soon be wondering who's supporting whom! It's the perfect excuse for pats, cuddles and ear scratches, which just happen to be three of my favourite things.

I'm an incredibly affectionate boy who adores being around people. If you're looking for a dog who will happily remind you that it's time for another pat (or perhaps a treat), I'm more than happy to take on that important role.

I have an eye condition called pannus, but this doesn't slow me down one bit. I’m such a good boy when it’s time for my daily eye drops (as long as there’s treats involved), as they keep my eyes comfortable, so it's just part of my routine.

One of my funniest little quirks is doing super-speed spins every morning before heading out for my morning ablutions. You've got to warm up properly, after all.

I'd be very happy sharing my home with another dog, whether they're big or small. While I enjoy meeting everyone, I'd be best suited to a home with children over 12. I can get a little enthusiastic when I'm excited, and I'd hate to accidentally bowl over a younger child.

For the most part, I'm a chilled-out fellow who brings calm, gentle energy wherever I go. If you're searching for a loyal best friend with a playful streak, plenty of affection to give, and a heart as big as my long legs, I might just be your perfect match.

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
