Looking for a cat with plenty to say? Tofu is ready to chat!

Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Tofu is a delightful girl with a big personality and an adorable collection of chirps, chats and little conversations. She'll happily let you know when she'd like your attention, enjoys being talked to, and has a playful way of communicating that will keep you smiling.

String toys are the quickest way to Tofu's heart. She loves chasing them, proudly catching her prize, then giving it an affectionate nose rub afterwards. Treats are another favourite, and when she's enjoying gentle pats she'll often roll around with pure delight, as long as everything is on her terms.

When meeting new people, Tofu can be quite timid. She'll need a patient adopter who is happy to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her affectionate, playful nature begins to shine and you'll discover the wonderful companion waiting underneath.

Tofu isn't a fan of loud noises or being picked up, so she would be happiest in a quiet one or two person home where she can enjoy plenty of attention and a calm environment.

She gets along beautifully with her sister Dolly and has excellent litter tray manners. She hasn't met any other pets, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully.

Because Tofu is living in foster care, we know her personality and the kind of home where she'll thrive. We don't have a shelter you can visit, but once you've submitted an adoption application, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know this charming chatterbox and see if she's the right match for your family.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialize and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat 

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
