About Gunner
Please meet gorgeous Mr "Gunner" aka Gunny
This boy is super handsome and a clever boy. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. Gunny is energetic for short spurts and then likes a snuggle and snooze, he also loves lazing in the sunshine. He is doing well with toilet training when taken out regularly and is crate trained and sleeps all night from 10pm til 7pm.
Gunner loves to learn new things and is food and toy motivated, making training a a lot easier. He already know how to sit, give paw, lay down, wait for food and wait for doors. he is a sponge atm and looking forward to his new family teaching him lots of new things at school.
Gunner would love a home with a well trained medium to large breed dog to play with and learn doggy things from. He is a bit boisterous for small dogs and also small children at this stage. He would love a home that will take him on lots of adventures and we think if you are into camping he would be very happy with that lifestyle. He does like water too so in the summer you can teach him to swim.
Beautiful Gunner is a heart stopper and will grow to be a super loyal and loving dog.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.

• You have a secure yard.
• Gunner will not be alone for more than 5hrs until older and trained to do so.
• You are willing to commit to obedience training.
• You will allow Gunner to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
