About Sushi
Meet Sushi! a gentle and curious cat looking for a loving home where he can settle in at his own pace. To help him adjust, provide a safe, cat-proofed room for the first week with cosy resting spots. Gradually introducing him to the rest of the house under supervision, as a slow introduction helps build confidence. Sushi thrives with a consistent routine for feeding, play, and rest, and enjoys calm interactions where he can choose when to approach. Sushi has high enrichment needs, so interactive toys, puzzle feeders, climbing and resting spaces, and multiple scratching posts are essential. He would suit adults, teens, or respectful families, ideally as the only pet, with access to a secure cat run or enclosed outdoor space.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
