Delta

At just 10 months old, Delta is a Malinois Shepherd mix with a brain that never clocks off and a heart that's absolutely bursting with love. She might play the shy card when you first meet her, but don't let that fool you-it won't be long before she's launching her entire body into your lap for cuddles, kisses and an enthusiastic game of personal space is overrated.

This clever girl has already been showing off her impressive learning skills during her short stay with us, picking up new tricks in no time at all. She's the kind of dog who doesn't just want a job-she expects one. Whether it's scent work, agility, advanced training, puzzle toys or inventing ways to outsmart you, Delta is happiest when her brilliant brain has something to do.

Because she's a Malinois mix, Delta is looking for a home with breed experience-someone who understands that a tired Malinois isn't created by a walk around the block alone. She'll thrive with daily mental enrichment, consistent training and plenty of opportunities to put those smarts to good use.

And yes... she's active. Very active. If hiking is already your thing, Delta is packing her imaginary backpack as we speak. If hiking isn't your thing... well... Delta thinks it probably should be. She'll happily be your adventure buddy, fitness coach and enthusiastic trail supervisor.
