About Lily
Meet Lily — a bright, playful, and curious junior cat right in the heart of her energetic “play phase.” Full of personality and intelligence, Lily loves to observe everything happening around her and is always keen to investigate what her humans are doing.
Lily thrives on interaction and companionship. She adores people and genuinely enjoys being part of the action and daily household life.
One of Lily’s cutest quirks is her fascination with water — don’t be surprised to find her perched in the bathroom sink or pawing happily at a running tap!
As Lily has only ever lived with older people, she would be best suited to a home with adults or older children who can appreciate her playful yet affectionate nature.
Alongside her playful energy, Lily has a very sweet and loving side. She thrives on attention, affection, and being close to her people.
With a slow and gentle introduction, Lily should also adapt well to living with another feline-friendly cat.
If Lily sounds like the purr-fect match for you, don’t delay — apply now via her profile on the AWL NSW website. If successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a meet-and-greet with Lily. Lily is currently in foster care in Chester Hill.
Best with Children Aged: 12 years +
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
