Meet Bert! 🐐❤️

Bert is a stunning goat with a beautiful coat and a gentle, quiet nature. He can be a little shy and likes to have his personal space, but he enjoys being around people and is always curious about what you’re up to.

Bert isn’t particularly keen on being touched, so he’ll need an adopter who is happy to respect his boundaries and let him build trust at his own pace. While he may not be looking for pats just yet, he certainly knows how to win you over with his favourite treat — Weetbix! 🥰

He is always the first to come into the yards when he sees the Esky arrive and is very happy to take treats directly from your hand. These little moments are a great way to build a positive relationship with him.

🐐 Bert’s Ideal Home

* Bert enjoys the company of other goats and would be very well suited to a home with friendly goat companions. * He currently lives peacefully alongside sheep and other animals, so sharing his space with other suitable livestock is no problem for him.
* Bert has not been around children, so his behaviour with children has not been assessed. An experienced goat-owning home with other friendly goats would be ideal.
* Bert may not be the goat who immediately asks for pats and cuddles, but he has a lovely personality and is a pleasure to spend time with. With patience, respect for his boundaries, good company and plenty of Weet-Bix, Bert has every opportunity to continue building confidence and trust in his new home. 🐐❤️
