Hi, I’m Warren.

I’m four, black, and quite pleased with how handsome I turned out. But if I’m honest, looks aren’t really what matter most to me. What I love more than anything is simply being near my people.

If you’re in the room, that’s probably where I’d like to be too. Curled up nearby. Leaning gently against your leg. Keeping you company while you potter about. I’m not a boy who needs constant entertainment, I just like being included.

I’m a sweet, gentle sort of hound. I enjoy my walks, I enjoy my toys, and I take dinner very seriously, but the best part of the day is usually whatever you’re doing. Washing up? I can supervise. Settling onto the couch for the evening? Excellent idea. Wandering from one room to another for no obvious reason? I’ll probably come too.

I’m affectionate without being demanding, and I’m perfectly capable of having a little time to myself as well. If you need to pop out, I’ll happily settle down for a snooze and wait for you to come home.

I’m lovely with other greyhounds, and smaller dogs don’t tend to cause much excitement either. I might be curious at first, but there are generally more pressing matters to consider, such as whether anyone nearby has treats. A gentleman has priorities.

I’ve also mastered stairs, and I’d be very happy in a home with children over 5 who would appreciate a big, gentle companion and don’t mind the occasional affectionate greyhound lean.

Really, I’m not asking for anything complicated. A comfy place to sleep, some good walks, a respectable dinner, and people who are happy to have a soft black shadow quietly sharing their day.

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
