Allow us to introduce the handsome Beaver: a young Staffordshire Terrier mix who has somehow managed to fit an entire puppy's personality into an adult-sized body.

Beaver approaches life with one setting: MAXIMUM.

Love? Maximum.
Zoomies? Maximum.
Happy tears because you went to the letterbox without him? Also maximum.
Common sense? ...We're working on it.

He's the kind of dog who wakes up every morning convinced that today is the BEST DAY OF HIS ENTIRE LIFE, and he'd really like everyone around him to know about it.

Beaver absolutely adores other dogs. He's social, playful and surprisingly respectful of his little foster fur brother. When he’s winding down he loves giving him some gentle ‘love nibbles’ with his front teeth. Despite his love and enthusiasm, he takes corrections from other dogs beautifully and is incredibly tolerant when they're not in the mood for his nonsense.

He's basically that annoying little brother at the family BBQ who keeps asking you to play - but says "okay fine" when you tell him to give it a rest a few times.

Beaver genuinely believes everything is better when you're involved. But he’s happy to hang out with another dog while you’re at work.

The good news?
Beneath all the chaos is a really clever dog. He's toilet trained, crate trained, knows how to use the dog door and is learning the foundations to becoming an incredible companion.

The reality?
Beaver is still a puppy. A large, enthusiastic puppy who will absolutely benefit from continued training, clear boundaries and people who can laugh when he inevitably makes questionable life choices. He's not looking for perfection - he's looking for someone who understands that good dogs aren't born, they're made through patience, repetition and training.

If you're after a calm, dignified gentleman who enjoys sipping tea and quietly contemplating life... Beaver would like to know if that gentleman has a dog he can wrestle with.

If, however, you're after a ridiculously friendly, hilariously over-the-top and endlessly loving goof, he will repay your patience with unwavering loyalty in spades.
