Meet Jacko (born 21/12/2024. This Boxer x Staffy pup is pure cute with a side of sass.
🐾 The Good Stuff:
· Loves other dogs – plays like a pro
· Cool as a cucumber with the cat
· Not a yapper, not a jumper (rare, right?)
· Happy to snooze in his crate (even if he’s not “trained” yet)
· Ignores chooks completely – just does his own thing
· Loves being indoors with his humans
🦴 The Real Talk:
· Strong on lead – needs a patient handler for loose-leash training
· Not a fan of getting in the car, but settles once inside
· Mostly house-trained (nearly there!)
· Smart as a whip – and stubborn with it (he knows what he wants)
· Chews stuff he finds – so keep shoes up!
✅ Fully sorted: Vaccinated, desexed, parasite-treated, microchipped.
Jacko isn’t a project – he’s a partner. He needs an active, consistent owner who’ll laugh at his stubborn streak and guide him with kindness.

Adoption details
All dogs are vet checked, desexed, microchipped, C3 vaccinated, wormed, heartworm and flea/tick treated.
ADFC house our dogs with volunteer foster carers in private homes.
They are given basic training and experience life in family situations with dogs, cats, children and various other domestic animals.
We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial - $50 deposit. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they are returned to us and deposit refunded.
