Hi, I'm Simba! I'm a big, beautiful boy who was rescued from euthanasia and given a second chance at life.

Nature
When I arrived in foster care, I had a very sore eye that needed surgery. I'm now fully recovered and have been given the all-clear by the vet. My eye looks a little different and can be a bit watery, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life.

I've got personality plus! One minute I'm convinced I'm a kitten, happily hanging out with the kitten crew, and the next I'm following my foster carer around the house like her little shadow. I'm a quirky boy with lots of character and love to keep my people company.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I've met my foster carer's dog, but we mostly keep to ourselves, so if you have a dog, a slow introduction would be best.

I live with several cats of different ages and get along especially well with female cats and kittens. The male cats sometimes like to boss me around, which makes me a little uncomfortable.

I'd also be happy living with respectful children aged 8 years and over.

Likes / Dislikes
❤️ Food... probably a little too much! I'll need a weight-controlled diet to help keep me healthy.

I don't really have any dislikes, but I can become a little overstimulated if there's too much fussing and cuddling all at once. I prefer short pats and cuddles to begin with, and as I relax and learn that I'm safe with you, I'll be ready for even more affection.

My PURR-fect home would be in most home environments and would even be happy as an only cat. I'm a delightful big boy who has been given a second chance to find my forever family. I have so much love to give, I just need someone to give me the opportunity to show them what a gorgeous, affectionate boy I really am.

Medical Notes: Simba was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.

Simba previously had an abscess on his face which has now healed. Due to the injury his left eye appears slightly smaller and he has epiphora (overproduction of tears) which means his eye sometimes has clear discharge. His eyes can be cleaned with warm saline as required and he may require sporadic veterinary treatment if his eye becomes irritated.

Simba had a dental scale and polish in April 2026 with the removal of 6 teeth.
