Bo Peep Doesn't Need Her Sheep, She Needs You!
Bo Peep is a gentle little Chihuahua who has already come such a long way. When she first arrived in care, she was extremely scared, shut down, and unsure of the world around her. Despite her fear, she has never shown any aggression, she's simply a very timid girl who needs time to feel safe. Beneath that nervous exterior is a sweet soul who is slowly learning that people can be kind and trustworthy.
While Bo Peep gains confidence from having other dogs around, she is also starting to seek out human companionship on her own. Once she feels comfortable, she'll happily approach for attention and even jump onto your lap for pats. The more you interact with her, the more her confidence grows, and she quickly forms strong bonds with her favourite people. Before long, you'll find her following you around, eager to stay close and soak up affection.
Bo Peep is looking for a patient and understanding home, ideally with someone who has experience with scared or timid dogs. She would be best suited to a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space and reassurance she needs while she settles in. With the right support, Bo Peep continues to blossom and show more of her loving personality every day.
As she adjusts to life as a family pet, Bo Peep will need ongoing help with basic training, socialisation, and confidence building. She is not yet fully house trained, can be a little picky with her food, and will need training to help her learn to walk comfortably on a lead. With kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement, Bo Peep has all the makings of a devoted companion who will reward her new family with unconditional love.
