Meet Smooch, a lovely senior lady with a gentle heart and a sweet nature. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, all she needs is a little patience and a quiet space to settle in. She is also a vocal girl who will tell you all about her day! Once she feels safe, Smooch's affectionate personality shines through, and she'll happily keep you company with her calm, loving presence. She enjoys a peaceful environment where she can relax, nap in sunny spots, and receive gentle attention on her own terms. Smooch would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with calm, older teenagers who understand the importance of giving her time to adjust. In return, she'll reward your kindness with trust, companionship, and plenty of quiet moments together. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle friend to share your home, Smooch could be the perfect match to spend her golden years surrounded by love and comfort.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
