About Fergolus
Meet Fergolus, a gentle and timid soul with a heart full of love. This approximately three-year-old English Staffy and Jack Russell Terrier mix may not have had much interaction with the wider world, but his sweet demeanor and eagerness to connect with people make him an endearing companion. While he might be a bit standoffish initially, once Ferg warms up to you, his tail wagging and delightful zoomies will reveal the affectionate and playful dog he truly is.
Ferg thrives in serene environments, walking well on a lead in quieter areas where he can take in the world at his own pace. While he may shy away from loud noises or overwhelming situations, he finds great joy in the presence of people he trusts and thrills at the opportunity to play with dogs that suit his energy. Through the fence at the facility, he has shown interest in befriending other canine companions, though he prefers playmates of a similar size or temperament, as larger dogs might initially seem intimidating to him.
Ferg seeks a patient and considerate family ready to offer a stable and nurturing environment. With time, understanding, and gentle exposure, Ferg will learn that the world can be a safe and exciting place. A thoughtful introduction to new people and places will help him gain confidence, unlocking his potential as a devoted companion with a loving heart. Adoption details
The adoption fee for all animals is $79 + all veterinary costs which are determined once your animal is booked in for desexing and will be discussed with you at that time.
We encourage potential adopters to meet specific animals. If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another, we require a 'Meet and Greet' session at the facility to ensure compatibility. Please contact us to make an appointment.
All animals adopted from our facility come:
• Desexed
• Vaccinated
• Microchipped
• Vet-checked
• Lifetime registered in NSW
Please note that desexing (if required) is only performed after adoption, which may result in a delay in taking your new pet home, depending on vet availability. Staff will contact you once an appointment is booked, we kindly ask that you personally collect your new pet from the vet clinic to ensure they can begin their recovery comfortably in their new home.

We do not offer trial periods for adoptions. Unless surrendered and the history is known, dogs in our care have not been tested with cats, so adopters should consider this carefully if there are cats in the household.
