This handsome Blue Heeler x large breed boy weighs around 42kg and is currently a little overweight, but underneath those extra kilos is one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs you'll ever meet. He's a big teddy bear with an even bigger heart.

Despite his size, Mack has an incredibly soft nature. The noisy pound environment is overwhelming for him, and rather than joining in the chaos, he quietly keeps to himself and avoids conflict. He's shown us that he's a sensitive soul who simply wants to be close to his people.

👂 Listens well and is eager to stay by your side

Mack came into our care from the Bungendore area. While we don't know his full history, we genuinely believe he has been loved. He's in good condition, well-fed, and his gentle manners suggest he has lived in a caring home—possibly on a large town block or even a farm.

He is happiest when he's close to his people and would thrive with someone who is home often or can include him in daily life. He's the type of dog who simply wants to follow you around, lean into you for pats, and be your shadow. 🥹❤️

Because of his calm and gentle personality, we believe Mack could suit:

🌳 A property with space to relax (although he doesn't need acres—just love and security!)

We haven't observed any prey drive while he's been with us, and overall he's proven to be a very easy-going gentleman.

The person who found Mack cared for him on their property for several days alongside their own dogs without any problems, which gives us confidence that he's a very social and respectful companion.

💔 Mack is finding the pound incredibly stressful. Every day here is difficult for this sensitive boy, and we'd love nothing more than to either reunite him with his original family or help him find a wonderful new one as soon as he's eligible.

If his owner isn't located, Mack will make someone an incredibly devoted companion.
