Beau is a 20-month-old Border Collie x Cattle Dog mix weighing 15kg, and he is packed full of personality, intelligence, and enthusiasm for life.
Smart, alert, engaging, energetic, and fiercely loyal, Beau is looking for an active family that can keep up with his zest for fun and adventure.
A true beach boy at heart, Beau loves nothing more than racing across the sand, splashing in the water, and spending time outdoors with his people.
When he's not exploring, you'll usually find him focused on his greatest passion in life – balls! Whether it's a game of fetch in the backyard or chasing a ball along the beach, Beau is always ready for action. He also loves his squeaky toys and enjoys interactive playtime.
Beau is dog friendly and would love a canine companion with a similar energy level to share his adventures and play sessions.
He would thrive in a home with a decent-sized yard where he can burn off energy and enjoy plenty of enrichment activities.
This clever boy would suit a family where someone is home more often than not, allowing him to be included in daily life and enjoy plenty of companionship. He is suitable for homes with children and would make a wonderful addition to an active household.
When it comes to treats, Beau is a healthy snacker who happily crunches on carrot sticks and celery sticks alongside his regular meals.

Beau is in care in Nelson Bay, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
