Bello – The Gentle King of Cuddles is Looking for His Forever Kingdom 🐾

Meet Bello, a handsome black and white senior cat with the sweetest, gentlest soul. At 14 years young, this super smoochy boy is incredibly affectionate and loves people with his whole heart.

Bello was deeply loved by his previous owner, who unfortunately had to move overseas at short notice to care for a sick family member. He came to us ready to find his next chapter with someone who will cherish his golden years. He is a true lover, not a fighter, and his incredibly gentle and affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around.

During the day, Bello enjoys finding a sunny spot to nap and relax. In the evenings, he seeks out a warm lap to curl up on and soak up all the attention. He demands cuddles and can be very vocal at dinner time with his adorable meows. He also has a cheeky habit of chewing on things, including plants, so it’s best to keep your valuables and favourite greenery out of sight.

On cold nights he loves to jump on the bed and sleep next to you like a cozy little hot water bottle.

Bello is great with cats and dogs and is currently living with his sister Bella, who enjoys curling up with her from time to time. Unfortunately however she can be a bit of a bully, so Bello is looking for his own home where he can live freely without being bossed around and he can truly shine as the gentle, loving boy he is.

He is very gentle, non-dominant and would be best suited to a quiet home where can can be loved like he deserves.

Bello would be the perfect companion for a retiree or anyone with a calmer lifestyle who would love a velvety black and white cat to sit on their knee and share quiet, affectionate evenings together.

Bello is approximately 14 years old, has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is living with his amazing foster mum in Fairfield.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
