About Tinkerbell & Sweet Chili
Meet Tinkerbell & Sweet Chilli: The Shy But Spicy Sister Duo! 🐱✨
Looking for two adorable 7-month-old sisters ready to turn your home into their personal confidence playground? Meet Tinkerbell (the sleek gray beauty) and Sweet Chilli (the gorgeous tortie with all the attitude)!
These two are a bonded pair of former colony cats ( we think ) who are on an exciting journey from timid to terrific.
Tinkerbell has quickly become the bold leader of the duo. Since arriving in her foster home, she’s burst right out of her shell, turning into a playful, adventurous, and very food-motivated little explorer. If there’s a treat involved, Tink will do absolutely anything!
Sweet Chilli is still the more cautious one, preferring the safety of her cozy cat bed for now, but she’s already starting to follow her sister’s confident lead. With Tinkerbell showing her the ropes, we’re confident Sweet Chilli will blossom into her full cheeky personality in no time.
These two girls didn’t have much positive human contact before coming into care, so they’re still learning that people can be wonderful. While they’re making fantastic progress every single day, they’re currently project cats who will need a patient, understanding home. Neither is a big fan of being patted or handled just yet, but with time, trust, and plenty of treats (especially for Tink!), we’re very hopeful they’ll learn to enjoy human affection.
Their story so far:
The girls were struggling in the busy shelter environment, so the staff reached out for help. Luckily, we had the perfect calm and quiet foster home ready for them. Since arriving, both have improved dramatically, especially Tink, who has gone from shy to sassy in record time!
Their ideal home:
Tinkerbell and Sweet Chilli need a calm, patient, and cat-savvy home where they can continue building confidence at their own pace. A quiet environment with someone who understands shy cats and is happy to let them warm up gradually would be perfect. They must stay together as they draw strength and courage from one another.
If you’re looking for two sweet girls who will reward your patience with playful antics, growing trust, and eventually lots of love, this dynamic duo might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
These two little adventurers are full of potential and ready to find their forever person (or people) who will celebrate every small milestone with them. From timid shelter kittens to future lap cats, the best part of their story is still ahead!
Tink and Chilli are both approximately 7 months old, have been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and are currently located with their amazing foster family in Southbank.
Ready to welcome these two cuties into your home and watch them flourish?
Send us a message to learn more about Tinkerbell and Sweet Chilli. They can’t wait to start their next chapter with the right family! ❤️
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help

We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
