The short version: Boof is a cheeky, clever boy who will rearrange your heart and your furniture if you let him. He’s got a white #1 right on his face like he’s ranked #1 at being good, and honestly, that’s not wrong.

Boof is the kind of dog that keeps you laughing. He's incredibly smart, highly food motivated, and learns new things in no time. Give him a few treats and a training game, and he'll have you wondering who's actually training who.

He's a classic Staffy who genuinely believes he's lapdog-sized. At night, you'll find him tucked up under the doona, snuggled in as close as he can get.
Boof absolutely loves other dogs and plays beautifully with them. He grew up around children and adores them, although his excitement can sometimes get the better of him. He greets his favourite people with full-body wiggles and enthusiastic little jumps, so he'd be best suited to a home with older kids who won't mind his happy welcomes.

This boy isn't built for a quiet life. He loves his walks, enjoys having a job to do, and thrives on training, enrichment and puzzle toys. If you like teaching tricks, playing games or getting out and about, Boof will be right there with you.

He's also got plenty of personality. Every morning he patiently waits for the last sip of his foster mum's tea because, as far as Boof is concerned, it's his. Amazon deliveries are another highlight of his day—helping unbox parcels is a responsibility he takes very seriously. He loves toys too, although they tend not to last long, so tough toys (or cheap ones!) are the way to go.

Boof is toilet trained, crate trained, desexed and microchipped, and he's ready to become part of an active family. He'd love another playful dog to keep him company or a home where someone is around a lot, because people are his favourite thing.

His foster carer says it best:
"Living with Boof is never boring. He watches everything, works people out quickly, and is always looking for a way to earn another treat. Once he trusts you, he's completely devoted. He's affectionate, funny, ridiculously clever, and just wants to be involved in whatever you're doing."
