Dipsy

Hi there, I’m Dipsy, a four-month-old pocket-sized whisker with a heart full of sunbeams. I’m tiny enough to curl into your lap, yet curious enough to tilt my head and study your day with wide, hopeful eyes. My purr hums like a soft kettle, especially when you lower your hand to stroke my back. I adore basking in a warm sunbeam and listening to the quiet rhythm of a home—the rustle of a curtain, the hush of a quiet room—while I grow braver with every gentle hello. I’m still learning the world, one soft paw at a time, and I promise a patient, watchful companion as you guide me along. Give me a little time and I’ll reveal a calm, friendly soul. I’m adaptable in new places and I settle in with grace once trust is earned. My energy is steady rather than wild; I’ll pause to observe, then step a little closer when I’m ready. I love moments of quiet companionship, a gentle scratch along my back, and a soft greeting when you sit down beside me. I respond best to kind, patient voices—the kind that tell me I’m safe and cherished. When you’re nearby, I’ll greet you with a soft meow and, if you stay, a content purr that grows into a warm, cozy hello. Who would suit me best? A calm, loving home where someone appreciates a kitten’s gentle pace and is ready to let me come out of my shell in my own time. I do well with a routine—snacks, gentle pets, and a quiet corner to observe the world from. An environment with safe spaces to retreat and windows to watch the day go by would help me blossom. I’d thrive with someone who’s patient and steady, perhaps a household that enjoys peaceful evenings and the glow of a content cat curling up at your side after a long day.

 NOTE: I am currently being treated for a fungal infection called ringworm, however I did receive my 1st negative result YAY, so on my way to full clearance!
