Nature
I am a confident, vocal boy who loves to seek your attention (and treats). I am fine to be left alone while you’re at work as my two favourite things to do are sit by the window watching the birds & having long snoozes.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs).
I would suit a home with older children, who are gentle & respectful. I love receiving attention from my humans but please don’t pick me up.

I would thrive as the only cat in the home, as I love having my humans all to myself. If you do have other cats, that’s ok too, as long as they can respect my space.
I haven’t met any dogs while in care and I do prefer a quiet area. If you have a cat-savvy dog that can respect my space, then I think I’d be okay.

✅ Being the centre of attention, I will rub against you & seek pats whenever I can
✅ Playtime and a little cheeky mischief
✅ Food - I am highly food motivated & will break into a bag of treats if given the opportunity

❌ Being picked up - I love being patted, but please don’t pick me up it’s very scary
❌ Sharing my favourite toys with my foster sibling - I prefer solo play

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet and laidback home where I can be the centre of attention and soak up all the love. I would prefer a family with older children or no children. I love having a comfy place to lounge around & would love a big scratching post & lots of toys.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Garrie please come and meet him at PETstock Port Kennedy this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
