Meet Franky!
Franky is a handsome Maremma x looking for his forever home. He’s a little reserved when meeting new people, but give him time and he forms a strong bond with his people. He’s a sensitive, emotional guy and exceptionally dramatic, like an any good Maremma!
Franky is great with kids and other dogs, he’s untested with cats & poultry but good with horses and goats, which he is currently living with at his foster carer’s place. True to his breed he has already shown great guarding instincts, barking only when there is a reason to and settling as directed. He is 💯 a water baby, loving his creek swims.
Franky is currently getting the hang of sitting on command and walking on a leash, he has great food manners including with other dogs. Continued training and firm boundaries will help him to become the best dog he can be.
Franky will be best suited to a life on rural property, with a family that has a lot of time to interact with him outdoors, or as a working dog out in the paddock with a herd he can bond with. He IS NOT a house dog and would not suit suburban life.
If you think you can offer Franky the home he deserves, we look forward to hearing from you!
Franky is $400 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea/rick/worm prevention.
