💛 Meet Teriyaki — professional lap warmer

If Teriyaki could choose one place to spend the rest of his life, it would probably be on your lap.
This sweet boy absolutely loves people, cuddles and scratches, but more than anything, he just seems happiest curled up with someone he trusts. He’s the calmer sibling of the two — happy to play, happy to explore, but also perfectly content to just hang out wherever the attention is.

Teriyaki can be a tiny bit unsure when he first meets someone, but it doesn’t last long. Once he realises you’re friendly, he warms up incredibly quickly and turns into one of the sweetest, cuddliest little cats you could ask for.

He loves being close to his humans and has such an easy, gentle nature.
He’s not as over-the-top as his brother Satay — Teriyaki is more of the quietly climb into your lap and stay there type. 🥹
He does love to play and has plenty of personality, but there’s something very calm and affectionate about him.

He’d suit a home where he can get lots of cuddles, company and reassurance, and where there’s always a comfy lap available.
Teriyaki is a little more reserved around Satay, who can sometimes be quite full-on. Because of that, while the boys are close, they do not need to be adopted together. Teriyaki may even really blossom in a home where he gets to come out of his brother’s shadow a little.

We do think Teriyaki would really enjoy having some kind of animal company. While he hasn’t been formally tested with other cats or dogs, his gentle, social nature makes us think he could do really well in a home with another friendly pet, provided introductions are done slowly and properly.
