Cheesecake is a super-sweet, affectionate kitten who loves nothing more than cuddling up beside his people. He was sadly abandoned from a car with his brother, so it’s understandable that he can be a little timid at first and is frightened by loud noises. Once he feels safe, his playful and loving personality really comes out.
He loves playing, eats and drinks well, and has settled nicely alongside our adult cat, Opal. He travels poorly in the car and cries throughout the journey, likely because of what happened to him, so he may need patience and reassurance during travel.
Cheesecake would suit a calm home with a single person, couple, or family with older, gentle children. He may find a busy home with very young children overwhelming. He hasn’t been tested with dogs, and because he can be timid, any introduction to a calm, cat-friendly dog would need to be very slow and carefully managed.
He is a gorgeous little companion who wants to be close to someone and would thrive in a loving home where he receives plenty of attention, playtime and snuggles.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
