Hi there, I’m Bolt—a little spark of curiosity wrapped in soft fur. People tell me I carry a calm kind of courage—just enough mischief to keep life interesting, just enough gentleness for you to fall in love with. I’m a little over a year old, old enough to know what I love and young enough to be won over by a patient, kind hand. When you walk into the room, I’ll tilt my head, study you with a bright, careful gaze, and maybe offer a slow blink that says, let's begin our journey together. I’m the kind of companion who settles in once trust is earned. If you’re near, I’ll be your quiet confidant—conversing in soft purrs and curling up close for warmth and company. I’ve shared a home with another cat before, so I understand keeping space while still enjoying gentle, respectful companionship. I’m happiest with a balanced day—a sunlit patch to stretch out in, a knee to lean into after a long stretch, and a little time for play that invites a smile. I do have higher needs and a cautious streak, so I’ll need a home that’s patient, observant, and ready to let me approach at my own pace. The kind of home that suits me best is quiet and calm, with someone who has owned a cat before and understands that trust grows slowly. I’d thrive in a routine that’s gentle and predictable, with plenty of opportunities for soft affection, a warm window seat, and a steady, reassuring presence. I have been in shelter and foster care for a while, so am very ready for a responsible, caring forever home that prioritizes wellness and comfort.
