Named after the wise and courageous greek goddess , Athena is a gentle young cat searching for a calm, loving home where she can begin her own journey.
After a difficult start in life, Athena can be shy at first, but with patience and understanding, her sweet nature shines through. She would thrive with cat-savvy adopters who appreciate that trust is earned and are happy to let her settle in at her own pace.
Athena would be happiest in a peaceful adult home, though she may also do well with gentle, respectful older children or teenagers.
If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, Athena is ready to write the next chapter of her story-one filled with safety, love, and the chance to truly flourish.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
