Say hello to Chico, a handsome 2-year-old Bloodhound with a gentle nature, a sweet soul and a nose that is very serious about its job!

Chico is the kind of guy who believes every walk should be a sniffari. Why rush when there are approximately 47,000 fascinating smells to investigate?! His incredible nose is one of his greatest joys, so Chico would absolutely thrive in a home that can give him an appropriate outlet for it - think scent work, long sniffy hikes, exploring new places or anything else that lets him put his nose to good use.

Chico is toilet trained and has previously lived happily with other dogs, so he could be a wonderful canine companion for a home looking to add another four-legged family member.

He's a friendly, affectionate boy, but ongoing training will help Chico build a strong bond with his new family and set him up for success in his forever home. As with any Bloodhound, his new family should be prepared for a dog with some wonderfully unique breed traits - experience with Bloodhounds is a bonus.

Chico hasn't yet been tested with children or cats, so introductions would need to be approached thoughtfully. He is best suited to a home with older/teenage children only.
