About Mimi
Mimi is a beautiful girl who is looking for the right fit for her forever home. Before reading further please understand she is a very affectionate girl who loves her humans, just sometimes a little too much.She also loves stuffed dolls, she came into care with miss piggy who has now sadly gone.
I don't want anyone to be deceived by the outward appearance of a dog who just wants to lick everyone.
The circumstances of her first year or so of life aren't clear but sadly she has shown herself to be anxious and a little pushy.
She will gravitate to one person and exhibit a need to be with them all of the time. She also has a tendency to bark to get attention or when the environment is too high energy.
I personally have already seen a change in her by letting her know the other dogs in my care need to have a turn in regard to cuddles and other things. As we are volunteers with multiple dogs we don't have the ability to give her the complete training she needs.
By this I mean being taught boundaries, teaching her she does not need to fret when you leave as you will be back, teaching her she is not the leader of the pack, helping her to understand all of her needs will be met in due course, all of this aiding her in becoming a confident happy little girl.
She comes across as happy but this is just over exuberance, constantly thinking she needs this behaviour to obtain what she wants and needs.
Mimi's ideal home would be with a retired couple or someone who works from home. Also someone who will continue to work with her and consider sending her to day care at least once a week and possibly obtaining intervention and advice from a trainer.
Mimi needs a dedicated dog lover who has the time and the finances to give her a chance at a real stress free life.
Mimi is a real Rescue dog that needs and deserves to have a loving home.

5. Adoption Fee:
An adoption fee is required to help cover the costs associated with the animal's rescue, medical care, and rehabilitation. The fee varies depending on the age, breed, and medical history of the animal but typically includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
6. Take Your New Family Member Home:
