Meet Mortadella – a happy, affectionate young boy who is ready to find a family of his own.

Mortadella found himself in a rural pound, and honestly, we can’t understand why. He is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle nature and the cutest goofy puppy personality. Like any youngster, he loves a good zoomie around the yard before settling down for a cuddle or a nap.

He is still learning about the world and is taking everything in his stride. Since arriving in foster care, he has already learned to sit, is walking nicely on lead, and is becoming more confident every day.

When Mortadella first arrived, he was quite timid. He’s still a little unsure about walking through doorways and sometimes needs a bit of gentle encouragement, but with patience and reassurance, his confidence continues to grow. Watching him blossom has been incredibly rewarding.

He is happy spending time on his own during both the day and overnight, making him a great companion for a home where his family may be out for short periods.

Mortadella gets along well with other dogs and would likely be fine with respectful children. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, we think he may be suitable with careful introductions.

This beautiful little guy has done his time in foster care. Now all he needs is a family who will continue building his confidence, share in his puppy adventures, and love him for the wonderful dog he is becoming.
